Representative offices of foreign enterprise(hereinafter referred to as RO) refers to the working bodies established by foreign enterprises in accordance with the regulations of China.
RO is a bridge connected holding company and China so that foreign enterprise could manage the business liaison, receiving clients and strengthen the cooperation with local governments and companies. In China, there is no requirement of canpital for register a RO. It is a fast, easy, and conveient way to develop business in China.
You can think about the RO registration if your foreign enterprise meet the following standards:
1/provide the domicile certification of the foreign enterprise
2/the business license valid for more than 2 years
The registration authority should make a decision on whether or not to approve registration of establishment within 15 days upon accepting application and may solicit opinions of related departments when necessary prior to the decision; in case an approval is made, it should grant to the applicant the registration certificate and representative card within 5 days upon making the decision; in case no approval is made, it should issue to the applicant the registration rejection notice within 5 days upon making the decision and give the reason for not granting registration.
